Cape Coral
was built about 40 years ago
by two land speculators who believed that the property's location on the
Gulf Coast provided abundant sunshine and almost endless opportunities for
waterfront living. The city features thousands o f
waterfront residential properties on more than 400 miles of canals, including
many with direct, saltwater access to the Gulf of Mexico and Charlotte
Harbor.

Cape Coral is located on Florida's
beautiful Gulf Coast between Sarasota and Marco Island. The Cape's
location places it within minutes of Interstate 75. Driving time to Tampa
and Miami is about two hours, and to Orlando is about three hours.
The city is serviced by two airports:
Southwest Florida Regional
Airport (located about 25 minutes away in Ft. Myers) and Page Field
(just across the Veteran’s Memorial Parkway Bridge). Southwest
Regional is served by most major airlines, providing transportation to
U.S. cities, Canada and Germany.
| More good news:
The City of Cape
Coral prides itself on being one of
the safest cities in the country. When compared to cities with more than
100,000 residents, Cape Coral is reportedly the safest city in Florida. |
